Egerton Manor Care Centre Bolton

Welcome to Egerton Manor Care Centre in Bolton, opening in November 2023. This state-of-the-art care home has been meticulously designed in line with CQC requirements and features 64 en-suite bedrooms and a range of top quality facilities.

All of our care homes, in Bolton and other locations, are decorated to the highest standards and our interiors have been planned by design experts. The communal spaces, bedrooms, and hallways have been created for the comfort of all our residents, with soft and soothing colours and furnishings, and clear signage throughout. There is subtle zoning to discreetly organise the space and help seniors navigate their new home independently.

We provide residential and respite care, as well as nursing and dementia care at our care homes. Egerton Manor offers all of these services, with fully trained staff on hand to ensure personalised and tailored care for every resident. As part of our dedicated care services, we have a huge range of menu options available in our fine dining restaurants to cater for all tastes and dietary requirements. This can be especially important for those looking at dementia care homes in Bolton.

The wellbeing of our residents is incredibly important to us, and we have a varied and engaging programme of activities available. Not only do we focus on activities for physical and mental wellbeing, but we encourage seniors to enjoy social interaction too. Residents can make the most of other premium features, such as nail and hair salons on site.

Our Egerton location allows residents access to plenty of green space, with well-tended gardens surrounding the care home. We also organise activities outside of our care homes. Bolton has several stunning outdoor spaces, including Jumbles Country Park and Smithills Hall. The recently redeveloped Bolton Market is a lovely day out with lots of food stalls and independent shops to explore.

Egerton itself is a quaint village and a peaceful bolthole away from the city. This tranquil area is an ideal site for our care home, offering residents a peaceful place to stay with easy access to major cities. Friends and family can enjoy many visits to loved ones at our care homes. Bolton has excellent transport links for anyone making the journey.

Great Things About Egerton Manor Care Centre In Bolton

Our Care Philosophy

Our Care Philosophy

At Egerton Manor, it’s our aim to enable all of our residents to maintain their independence and continue to achieve their full potential either physically, intellectually, emotionally, or socially. We pride ourselves on providing professional, person-centred care, nurturing each care home resident to explore and understand their needs. Although a resident’s care requirements may change over time, the team will be responsive to those changing needs - we’re there for you and your loved one, every step of the way.

Dementia Magic Table

Dementia Magic Table

‘Magic Tables’ or ‘Tovertafel’ are a key part of our dementia care programme at Egerton Manor. There is significant research into the positive effects of play on dementia, and we find that the ‘Magic Table’ has extremely positive benefits for residents living with dementia. Residents and their loved ones can play freely on the ‘Magic Table’, which is a fantastic way for children to spend quality time with older relatives. New Care is one of a small group of providers leading the way in the UK with the ‘Magic Table’ as part of our strategy to provide opportunities for residents living with dementia and their relatives to have fun together.

Oomph! Wellbeing Programme

Oomph! Wellbeing Programme

All Egerton Manor Care Centre staff have taken part in the Oomph! training programme, which is designed to support them in delivering a 360-degree approach to residents’ wellbeing. The Oomph! programme enables our care home staff to deliver everyday mental stimulation, regular fun physical activity, and new experiences and connections to enhance the mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing of our residents.

Meet the Team

Martha Hamill, Home Manager

I qualified as a Registered nurse in 2008. My career started in forensic hospitals and acute psychiatric nursing wards. I have worked in multiple sectors over the years including both the NHS and Private organisations. I have always had a passion for supporting and caring for older people and have progressed to senior roles within the Private Health and Social Care Sector. I love talking and listening sitting down to our residents and learning about their lives and families. As a Home Manager my role is to ensure that everyone receives the highest quality of care and is treated with dignity and respect. I also enjoy supporting and nurturing all levels of staff to achieve the highest standards and their full potential whilst understanding the importance of work life balance. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, I love the outdoors , I regularly go walking with my dog Pippa. .
